In recognition of the 100-year anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment and honoring women’s constitutional right to vote, Patricia Rovzar Gallery is dedicating the first half of 2020 to exhibiting female artists. The gallery’s 28-year history as a woman-run business is rooted in building strong relationships and sharing the passion and power of the arts.
During this time of division and divisiveness in our country, we want to set aside time to intentionally recognize the profound impact that art has within our communities. The gallery’s programming specifically celebrates the role that women artists play in teaching empathy and compassion by encouraging people to think in new ways, their ability to bring to light hidden histories through exploring diverse perspectives, and how their creativity encourages vulnerability, innovative thinking, and human connection.
The future is the female voice and we are privileged to offer a platform for these incredible woman artists.
