“For Amusement Only is exactly what the doctor ordered. Out of necessity, society has created an epic shift of lifestyle and daily routine, and in the process has established new norms. In all of this we have all found ourselves in an unwanted quagmire. On a nightly basis my mind wanted to recoil, yet through my creative process, I discovered that what I needed, perhaps what we all needed, was amusement. We needed to be joyfully entertained and pushed into a world that asks only one thing of us… to enjoy. The power of art is not just in the act of creating it, but also the act of looking and living with it, being surrounded by it, and by falling into it. Thank you for becoming a part of this art and for putting your energy toward immersing yourself in these works and the world that it holds for me.
