Mirror Forty-Two

Multi-disciplinary artist Liz Tran’s new work and installation pays homage to Rorschach. The paintings for the exhibition present themselves like Rorschach’s ink blots in bold compositions that seem to mirror not only each other but also mirror the need to present works that are filled with hope. For Liz, the natural expedition of embracing the mechanisms that make our minds a utility for progress or obliteration, is determined by introspective communication. In terms of harvesting our language of expression and its interaction with the ecosystem within our psychological reality Botany is material and existential. There are songs that reconstruct the anatomy of the birds that sing them, and there also songs that create new words, this is Tran’s metronome for all to become enthralled.
