Moved by ancient cross-cultural art and mythology, Terry Turrell is drawn to the ways that visual art can be used to tell stories, express music, investigate world views, and delve into memory. “Jagged Edge” brings together a collection of paintings and sculpture that are infused with uplifting color, unusual materials, and spontaneous marks. As with much of Turrell’s art, the works in this exhibition walk the edge between our collective being and existence alongside the things that connect us to the sacred and mystic.
