“Spirit World” is a collection of new paintings and sculptures that reference one of the most important parts of artist Terry Turrell’s life, his animals. The exhibition captures Turrell’s life in an imagined world where his animals are entwined with figures each intersecting the other. Animals connect Turrell to his humanity and he clearly feels more comfortable enveloped by their presence.

Known for pushing boundaries using interesting and often unconventional materials, Turrell’s creations are always spontaneous and never routine.
